Create Your Own World

Create Your Own World

For this workshop participants create their own analogue photo collage of a particular ‘world’ using magazines, printed images

and coloured paper. This world could be a cityscape, landscape or beachscape or indeed a mixture of the three.

It could either be a totally imagined world or based on an actual location.

As part of this workshop I will give the participants a photo shop demonstration.

Which will include tips they can use when creating their photo collages.

For example how to create illusion of depth in their photo collages.

I facilitated this workshop at the following event:

Outside In Ambassadors Event

The ambassadors’ events are run as social events as well as participants taking part in the workshop.

Outside In works with artists who encounter significant barriers to the art world due to health, disability,

social circumstance, or isolation.

This workshop was run on line via Zoom.

‘A Sense of Place’ Photo Collage

‘A Sense of Place’ Photo Collage

This workshop naturally falls into 2 sections.

The first section of this mainly consists of the participants coming up with their idea for their photo collage

and sketching this down.

In the second section I give the participants a photo shop demonstration. Participants then create their photo collage.

This can either be created by cutting out and sticking down images or by using photo shop.
